PCA Club Racing   Club Racing is a structured fender-to-fender type of road racing for all types of Porsches.  Cars are classed according to their horsepower / weight ratio.   The series has very strict rules regarding incidents that result in damage to cars.  Essentially you are on probation for 13 months if you are at fault in an incident that damages a car (including your own) and another incident during probation gets you tossed out for 13 months.  The result is that there are fewer incidents than, for example, SCCA events.  It doesn't really water down the racing though, it just helps everyone keep it in perspective.  Let's face it, all we are after is a plastic trophy and bragging rights here.     PCA Club races are held all across the US and Canada.  I'm relatively new to it, although I have loads of DE and Time Trialing experience.  Here's a link to some info on PCA Club Racing.   http://www.pca.org/pca/clubrace/

COMSCC Time Trials COMSCC stands for Corvettes of Massachusetts Sports Car Club.  COM started in 1957 as an enthusiast's group, but today it is a well-known DE and Time Trialing Club with over 500 members, just a fraction of whom actually own Corvettes.  They are based out of New Hampshire International Speedway (NHIS) and hold about 8 two-day events a year, the first day being a standard DE format and the second a Time Trial (open track - it's just you and the car and the track).  Your fastest solo time is compared with other cars in the same class.  More info can be found here:   www.comscc.com
